Gareth Banton

Gareth began as an ordinand at Ridley Hall in 2015. He will be studying there for three years. Before training for the priesthood, he was Anglican Chaplain to Liverpool Hope University, and before that he was a youth worker.

Gareth is married to April, and they have one son, Samuel David. They live in Cherry Hinton, which feels very suburban to Gareth (who comes from Liverpool), and very urban to April (who comes from Dorchester).

When he has time, he likes to wild camp and hike. He also likes to play acoustic guitar; and, though he isn’t very good, he likes singing too. He can often be found of an evening playing MMORPGs with friends.

Liz Brown

Liz is an ordinand at Westcott House, and will be training there for three years.  Before training for the priesthood she worked at Hampstead Parish Church as their children’s, youth and families worker.

Her home town is Colchester, Essex, where her family still live, including her twin sister and a menagerie of animals!

Her interests include body art, reading, theatre, and all sports.
